Marc Fest joined the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation in February 2007 as communications director. He was promoted to vice president for communications in March 2008.
An Internet entrepreneur and public relations veteran, he served as an inaugural member of Knight Foundation's Community Advisory Committee for Miami-Dade and Broward counties from 2002 to 2007. He is founder of QuickBrowse.com LLC, a service for browsing Web content more quickly. He was vice president of communications for the New World Symphony from 2004 to 2006. He served as a Miami-based correspondent for Berliner Zeitung.
