This comment concerns the Knight Foundation funded Center for Collaborative Journalism at Mercer University AND that university's 'other actions' which run counter to the professed aim of the aforementioned grant and Center. TWO YEARS AGO, MERCER UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUS LIBRARY ELIMINATED PUBLIC ACCESS COMPUTERS, which up until that time had been widely used by members of nearby and disadvantaged neighborhoods. Does that action further the grant's avowed purpose/aim of "improving news flows and engaging citizens"?
