The Upper Eastside Garden is one of Miami’s great hidden gems. Equal parts community hub, native garden center, events locale and mini golf course, the UEG aims to increase accessibility to the arts and boost artistic expression. In 2008, the Garden became a Knight Arts Challenge winner, securing $25,000 for operating costs and program expansion. Founder Peter Rozek takes us inside the space and talks about future plans.
