The blog of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation
Knight Foundation's Dennis Scholl recently spoke at two sessions of the 2013 Aspen Ideas Festival.
First, Scholl joined artist Leo Villareal, Mayor Bloomberg's Art Czar(ina!) Kate Levin, and Pulitzer Prize-nominated conductor Tod Machover to discuss the impact of art and technology on cities.
Then, Scholl joined a panel debating if artists really make the world a better, tangibly improved place. On the second panel, Scholl was joined by Bridget Kendall, dancer Damian Woetzel and designer Fred Dust. Click here to listen to the panel.
