Get your flamenco on at the CCEMiami

Every year around this time I encourage our readers to take flamenco lessons. It looks fun, romantic and dangerous (in a good way!). I must admit I’ve always wanted to learn flamenco, but I’ve yet to take the plunge. I guess I’m just waiting for someone to take me.

CCE Miami.

Don’t wait for life to bring new experiences to you. Make them yourself. From September 9 to October 29 from 6:30-8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, the Centro Cultural Español en Miami (CCE Miami) will host flamenco classes with one of the leading flamenco dancers today—Primitivo Daza.

The classes will focus on arm and foot techniques that will turn you into a proficient flamenco dancer. Well, if not proficient, you’ll at least have fun trying. For more information and to register, visit CCE Miami. To enroll, call 305-448-9677 or email [email protected]. The price for six classes is $320; individual classes are $25. Space is limited. CCE Miami is located at 1490 Biscayne Blvd., Miami.
