With this grant, the Knight Digital Media Center will speed the news industry’s digital transformation by increasing its leadership workshops and special topic seminars. The center will reach 100 journalists directly with its new work. They, in turn, will change newsrooms populated by thousands of other journalists and change media seem by millions of Americans. Specifically, center alumni will learn how to gain understanding of how to better cover news online, and gain tools for managing change and transformation in newsrooms.
