To position the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties as a civic leader by extending their management of Knight Foundation's community guideline
Created in 1972, the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties offers grants in five target areas: affordable housing, education, services to the elderly, health care and the environment. This funding will extend the community foundation’s role as Knight’s grant making agent, in lieu of a local program director.
The community foundation will continue to fund innovative civic engagement efforts while launching Digital Public Square, a website and virtual community featuring important events, research findings, public policy debates and other resources for Palm Beach County.
