To deliver relevant content through new media channels targeted to 18-30 year olds who have not attended college

A Civic Blast will use student-designed content and new media to inspire action and advocacy in young adults. The effort, launched by The Community Foundation, along with Colorado University - Boulder, the Institute for Ethical and Civic Engagement and New Era Colorado, will build a framework for exploring 18 to 30-year-olds’ preferences for information consumption. The targeted age group doesn’t tend to be civically engaged, yet could form the basis for a new and diverse Boulder leadership.

About the Organization: The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County exists to improve the quality of life in Boulder County now and forever, and to build a culture of giving.

Editor's Note: As of early 2011 the "A Civic Blast" web site is no longer active.
