This grant will help transform CommonWealth Magazine from a paper-based quarterly journal to an interactive, digital resource. Produced by a Boston think tank, CommonWealth will launch an investigative reporting unit with an additional reporter and researcher to focus primarily on the public sector. The magazine will seek to hold government agencies accountable for their work. It will also develop a “What Works” desk to report on programs and policies that are successful in spots around the nation.
