To launch a digital platform (Change By Us) that changes the fundamental nature of the relationship between citizens and their local governments by engaging them in decision making and service delivery

Together with the National League of Cities, the partners will develop a council of cities that have an ownership stake and oversight of the project, allowing them to have a voice in what features get prioritized, developed and added to the platform. They will create a network for Change By Us host cities to share key learning, failures and best practices with one another.

This project will result in lowered barriers to citizen participation in community problem solving; increased likelihood of growing participation and engagement by citizens; and a platform and a technology for engagement program that can be replicated and sustained nationally.
