Student African American Brotherhood

To increase high school graduation rates and college access for at least 90 African American male students by extending the Student African American Brotherhood's network to high schools in Akron, Macon, and Miami

KaBOOM!

To support an expanded KaBoom! model to include expanded training for volunteers and capacity building for the local sponsoring nonprofit in nine playgrounds builds in Akron, Miami and Detroit

JumpStart, Inc.

To implement new methods for community members to engage with public, private and philanthropic entities to build economic engines that foster entrepreneurship and create jobs

Afterschool Alliance

To provide technical assistance and cross-community learning opportunities to Knight grantees working on out-of-school-time programming and related youth-development initiatives in seven Knight communities

Digital Public Library of America

To include Knight-community libraries in the creation of a national digital library network

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

To analyze the impact of federal and state budget proposals on Knight priority areas and help grant partners access and use budget and tax policy data

To support acclaimed choreographers Ronen Koresh, Doug Elkins and Kate Weare who will bring internationally and nationally recognized cutting edge dance innovation to audiences in Akron
