The purpose of the web site is to inform the public about the programs of the foundation, to help shine light on the operations of our active grantees, and to present information to inform future grant applicants.

Privacy Policy and Information Sharing

• As a result of grant requests and other correspondence with Knight Foundation, we keep non-financial contact information such as your e-mail address and postal address in a database used by employees, and some contractors and non-profit partners.
• We collect e-mail and postal addresses from a variety of sources including partner organizations and public records lists. We sometimes share information with our grant partners when it's related to the content of a program or project and we think you'll be interested in the material.
• We will not share any part of your information with any for-profit or commercial organizations.Your e-mail and postal address may be shared with other non-profit organzations.
• We will honor your request to stop sending you publications or e-mail newsletters, and this will not affect your grant-related communications. Please e-mail publications@knightfdn.org or web@knightfdn.org with such requests.
