Grantees and the media frequently need to use Knight's logo on a layout or web site, or need a photo of the founders or an officer for publication.
Often used in printed publications, advertising, etc.. This is the "high resolution format" most visitors are looking for.
Best for putting into MS Word documents. Good for use in Photoshop or Fireworks. No transparent background.
This format is best for importing into page layout programs such as InDesign, Quark or MS Publisher.
Here are some rules to observe when applying the Knight Foundation logo.
1. Please note that the KF logo includes an imagined white vertical column as part of the K-letter to the left of the blue part. As you integrate the logo into designs please account (i.e. make space) for this.
2. The colors -- if you're a designer trying to match them -- are teal blue (PMS 7468) and orange (PMS 716). If these colors are not compatible with your design, then please consider using the white logo on a darker background. The orange logo really should only be used on a neutral background color such as white.
3. When in doubt, please send your design to Communications Director Marc Fest by e-mail for a look-over.
