The world premiere of Nightspot at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts Friday says some good things about Greater Miami. Nightspot, a new ballet that is a first-time collaboration between renowned choreographer Twyla Tharp and iconic musician Elvis Costello, is a coup for Miami City Ballet. That these two luminaries agreed to choreograph and compose a new work speaks first to the MCB's internationally acclaimed talent and verve -- and its uniqueness.
