Former President Bill Clinton and more than 400 guests gathered for a Miami fundraising dinner for the Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial. Knight Foundation, the dinner’s sponsor, has given $1 million to the tribute to Dr. King, who had a transformational impact on the nation and the world. Knight Foundation President and CEO Alberto Ibargüen presented Clinton with an award for his efforts in making the memorial a reality.
