Beverly Jemmott joined Knight Foundation in March 2006 as an investment/accounting assistant, and was promoted to finance executive assistant in January 2008.

She previously worked for Broward County Government where she was administrative coordinator. Prior to that, she was executive assistant to senior executives of Arthur Andersen & Co. and Knight Ridder, among others.

Jemmott attended New York City Technical College and is originally from Trinidad & Tobago.
