Elizabeth R. Miller joined Knight Foundation in August, 2011.
Previously, Miller was a senior program associate at The Overbrook Foundation, a family foundation in New York City that focuses on the environment and human rights. There, she helped identify and administer the foundation’s media-focused grants, advised grantees on media work and helped the foundation increase its social media presence. Miller has also worked at the Progressive Book Club, Fenton Communications and MediaChannel.org.
Miller has a master’s in media, culture and communication, a bachelor’s in politics and journalism and a certificate in grantmaking from New York University. She is a native of Washington, D.C.
