Térèse Coudreaut Curiel
Térèse Coudreaut Curiel joined Knight Foundation as director of human resources in January 2011. She was promoted to VP/ Administration in December 2012. Coudreaut was named secretary to the board of trustees in March 2013.
Coudreaut provides leadership in creation, implementation and measurement of the human resources and administration functions to enhance the foundation’s ability to attract, support and retain top talent. She also provides reporting and regulatory oversight for the foundation’s grants and important historical documents. As the secretary to the foundation’s board of trustees, Coudreaut serves a key role in the administration of the board and is a liaison between the president, trustees and other members of senior management on corporate governance matters.
From 2002 – 2005, Coudreaut worked for Knight Foundation as manager of workforce performance and development, where she created a metrics-based approach to determining success. Most recently, Coudreaut led a global consulting practice at Alexander Proudfoot Co. that helped companies adapt to large-scale operational change. Previously, Coudreaut worked with a Marsh & McLennan subsidiary, where she developed a project management office that helped drive more than 200 global projects to on-time and on-budget delivery.
A graduate of the State University of New York with a bachelor’s in marketing communications, Coudreaut earned a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Columbia University.
