Kara Oehler
Kara Oehler is a Peabody award-winning audio documentarian, executive director of the news nonprofit Media And Place Productions and cofounder of metaLAB (at) Harvard, a hub for media innovation. Oehler is cocreator of: Zeega, an open-source HTML5 platform that allows anyone to easily create works of interactive journalism; Mapping Main Street, a collaborative documentary that creates a new map of the country through stories, photos and videos; Yellow Arrow :: Capitol of Punk, an interactive documentary that was featured in MoMA’s exhibition “Design and the Elastic Mind”; and the UnionDocs Collaborative, a laboratory for documentary arts research and production.
